Derek Michael Hanson - Producer

Derek was born on May 16th 1981 and grew up in Princeton Minnesota in a family of four. At four years old Derek put on his first pair of ice skates and never turned back. After playing hockey his whole life, his love for the game has been consistent throughout the years as he still continues to play. Hockey, however, is only one of Derek’s many interests.

During school Derek published numerous pieces of art that were coined as a very unique style by critics alike. His creative sense carried over into his love for film and television which lead him to a career in film and television production. Derek has since obtained a degree in television production and theatre from SCSU and has worked on many films and television shows acting, producing, writing, directing, technical directing, editing, DVD Creation, and web design.

Besides producing True Love, Derek is currently writing his first feature, a psychological sci-fi drama due out sometime next year.
